You will need to print this page, or write down the information and then use the e-mail address in your e-mail program. Note: I detest telemarketer's unsolicited calls, and so I do not wish to permit software to mine our web site for telephone numbers. Therefore I have masked them as well.
Please be generous with information if you are contacting us by e-mail.
You can contact us and ask me to email you our inquiry form to collect this information. This is our preferred method. It only requires a web browser to fill in the Goggle form.

- Gender
- Phone number(s)
- Permanent email address
- City that is your permanent address, or country if an international student.

There are many frauds that attempt to deceive Landlords, such as one called "overpayment scam" and its variations. Therefore if you wish a guaranteed room to stay, we only consider a room rented to you when you have read and signed a copy of our lease and we have received payment. Until payment is received, we will continue to consider accepting other applicants. We will only accept payment by secure methods.
A room reservation requires a payment of at least the first month's rent, and the last month must be paid before you move in. If you are reserving within 60 days of the move in date, the advanced reservation requires payment of both the first and last month's rent.
If you are from outside Canada, please read this carefully:
First of all, we are happy to provide accommodation to international students, and we enjoy having international students stay with us. However we are continuously receiving false attempts to rent our rooms by people attempting an overpayment fraud which is well known in Canada. We will not waste our time on these frauds. Therefore if you wish to book in advance we have the following process to eliminate fraud. We first will require proof that you are enrolled in a local College or University, or that you have a job offer for a co-op work term or Internship position. We will verify this information. To do this verification if you are attending College or University we need your student number, program name, start and end date of your courses, and your date of birth and place of birth. If you are on a work term or Internship position we will require the full name, company, and address and phone number of your employer so that we can contact them and confirm your employment. Only once this has been verified will we consider accepting a reservation. Next we require payment of at least the first month's rent. We will only accept advanced payment from outside Canada in the following ways:
- A SWIFT network Wire transfer from an approved banking institution that has a financial relationship with my bank. (preferred)
- An Interac e-mail transfer from a friend or family member who lives in Canada who will make the payment on your behalf.
- Western Union Wire Transfer
If you do not wish to have a guaranteed reservation in advance, and plan to inspect our accommodation as soon as you arrive, then that is fine. We will be happy to answer all of your questions as soon as you supply us the same information so that we can confirm you are a genuine student coming to Canada.
If you are inside Canada, and we have not met you in person, then payment for an advance reservation will only be accepted in the following ways:
- E-mail money transfer
- Bank draft issued by the TD Canada Trust bank or RBC bank (Royal Bank of Canada)
- Cash in Canadian funds sent by mail or courier service (not recommended)
Thank you
Mr and Mrs Landlord
